I've have a Condy and a Bubble Tip since last tuesday, they seem to have been doing well. I Spot fed them each twice just a little bit and they took it at least what my peppermints didnt try to steal from them. Anyways I checked on the tank at about 3am last night and they have never looked better and then this morning I woke up to both of them looking like this!

I instantly took them out, they were both still stuck to the rocks. What happend!?!? I'm taking my parameters right now, they are currently in a 55g under 260w of T5 lighting. Help!!
Edit: Just check parameters, Am-0 Ni-0 Na-10 pH-8.0
I was already planning a water change today, what happened?? How do you tell if they are dead or if I should put them back in or not

If they were still attached then they are still alive. Don't bother them. They will deflate every day or every other day. they do this to flush out their system. They will inflate themselves in a couple of hours. One way to tell if they are dead is to smell them or if they are falling apart, kinda looks like they're melting.

Invert- Nailed it on the head.
They look fine.
A bit angry/stressed for being uprooted but fine.
It is part of thier cycle to inflate and deflate to clear themselves from time to time.

When it finds a spot that it feels comfortable in it will attach itself. If you have any powerheads or filter tubes it would be wise to cover the intakes with a sponge or nylon mesh so it don't get sucked up while it is roaming around. Glad to hear they're still alive

My pink tip haitan does the same thing after I spot feed. It will be out and open all day then during the night it deflates and then reflates when the lights come on. I was starting to get worried, but from what I have read on this thread would this be normal for mine also?
