Are you feeding it? What is the light cycle? Change up the light pattern just a bit. For example... pick one or two days a week and run the lights slightly different. You can turn off half the bulbs for that day, have the lights run for half the time, have them kick on a couple hours later, or turn off a few hours earlier.

Typically, bleaching is because the zooxanthellae algae is being used up, and does not have the light to continue growing and supporting the anemone.
mmmmsushi - I have never heard of toxic build up in an anemone. They release waste daily, and refill with new water each time. Not bashing you...just would like clarification on what you are referring to.
Let's start with this - what kind of lighting do you have? A year sounds about right for an anemone to slowly die without the right lighting. I know. I killed one that way. :(
