i just noticed my hippo tang has popeye will this go away it's only on one eye?If not how do I go about treating this?

I lost my hippo to this, I believe the best way is hyposalinity. That's what was recommended to me but I didn't have a hospital tank at the time and I had inverts in my display tank. Others can explain better but if you do a search for hypo, you should get most of your questions answered. Good luck, Hippos are great fish, sensitive but great personality

Can you please post all of your water readings for us? Ammonia, nitrite, nitate, ph, SG, and temp? How long have you had this fish and how long have you had this tank? What do you feed the fish and what else is in with it? What sized tank is this? Hyposalinity is for parasites, this is an infecton.
