anyone who knows anything, please...
i just got a horseshoe crab (body about 3 inches long) a couple of days ago and i regret it already. i should have been more sensible than be so easily persuaded by the lfs, i was just too excited. anyways he told me they are just scavengers like any other cleaner crustacean and that it'll be fine in my aquarium, which is crushed coral rather than sand. well i've been doing alittle research and found that their natural habitat is mud or sand and the adults feed on various inverts such as worms and bivalves... i like to think my is a juvenile, but it could very well be an adult already. eitherway, if anyone knows anything about this animal please please let me know. especially on what its diet should consist and where i could get it. the lfs won't let me return it and i really want it to do well. help please...

I don't know if this is any help because I have sand. I bought 3 of them and I have no idea if all of them are still alive yet. About every 3 days I will see one crawling along the top of the sand. The rest of the time they are below the sand. Have had them for about 2 months now
