I bought a maroon clown yesterday and put him in my qt right away. I've never put any fish in my qt before, but it is fully cycled. Then today I noticed that my fish's right fin doesn't move normal (looks very stiff) and his whole body (including the right fin) looks like it's peeling off tissue.!!!! The only thing I can think of is that I have WAAAYYY too much current in the tank. My QT is a 2.5gallon minibow and I'm using a hob filter designed for 10gallon. I'm not sure if too much current can damage a fish. Do you guys think that's the reason why? I blocked part of the filter tube so the current is way less now. Do you think my fish is going to survive, and will his fin come back to moving normal again? Please help, I really like this fish.
