This is my first post! I started my tank on 02/10/07.
I have a 44 G corner tank, 150 SeaClone skimmer, 404 fluval that's been handed down to me as my brother-in-law upgraded his tank. My SeaClone was working fine until I cleaned out the cup and put it back on. I also did a 15% water change sifting the cc and I got a lot of dirty water out of it. I spent hours trying to tweak the air intake but it only bubbles up around the neck, where the water flows out. I know I have things decaying in there but I'm not getting the foam to rise up in the cup. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!
I have 2 small ocelleris clowns,
small BTA
small pink tip haitian
2 mexican turbos & 4 astrea snails
1 cleaner shrimp
small frag of frog spawn (just added this today)
I feed 1-2 flakes of formula one per day. Dt stuff--liquid food for inverts (twice a week)
I checked my water last week and all parameters were perfect with traces of nitrates (this was before my water change)
Please help as I really don't want to be buying another skimmer. I just bought my 250 metal halides and I'm kinda broke. I have pics but they're too large to post. how do you decrease the photo size?
