HELP! My Xenia never pulse

I've purchased these Xenia several months ago from my LFS. The Xenia are pulsing Xenia because they are frags from the tank at the LFS. The Xenia mine came from pulse like crazy at the LFS. I know they are healthy because they have grown in the last few months as well.
Here's what I have in my 38G.
96 Watt 50/50 CF
1 Power Head
1 Nano K
My flow is fine because my Xenia "rock" back and forth. ALL of my levels are just fine. I check EVERYTHING!
Any suggestions?

It's a weird coral. Mine may pulse for a long long time and all of a sudden not pulse at all for a while, the longest they've gone without pulsing has been a month and then they started pulsing like nothing happened

Same thing here! I fragged a piece for my mom and hers pulses like crazy. Mine on the other hand barely ever pulse. Yesterday however, all of mine were pulsing. Strange coral!

i heard that if you take the flow off of them, then they will pulse. mine wouldn't pulse either and that was because i had the flow directly on them. but as soon as i took it off, they started again. might just be my luck... not sure lol

That's so funny because I fragged a piece for my girlfriend and in her tank it never stops pulsing and it gives out some crazy pulses

I did the flow thing on mine a while ago and mine actually pulse more when they have flow directed at them. It's like they completely freez when there's no more flow

I wonder if it has to do with food in the column of water??? When I had xenia it would puls ok. It seemed to me that when I fed phyto daily or semi daily it would just sit there. Then I quite feeding phyto so much and it would pulse more for me. In the tank I bought them from they were being blasted by flow and they were pulsing like no other. That is why I bought them.
Then they started spreading and I had to get rid of them. Damn weed if you ask me.
