Well, a bad thing happened.
I lost my lens cap and had to drive 12 hours on a road trip. To protect the camera "from the kids", I kept it next to me in the car...It turns out I was a bigger problem than the kids...Probably I was tired...somehow I knocked the camera out of the car and onto the pavement. Now the only lens I had is totally bent, but the camera seems ok...so I need to get another lens. I'm thinking I will get a telephoto either 75-200 or 75-300 but is the "75"...anyone with suggestions. NMreef gave me references along time ago and for the life of me I can not find the thread where he listed them...I just need the actual names of the lenses so I can internet search the best price. I was going to go to B&H or J&R here in new york, but figured I should search it out first and try and get the best deal. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
