I bought some Zoas from another website and they are not as blue as what they have viewed on their site.
Their Site:

My Picture (Nikon D40, 24x4 T5 2 Ant. 2 10k)

He told me it was my lighting and was wondering what lighting combo with what I currently have would work best and if someone has pictures of suggested setup.
My lights are 30 inch Current USA SunDial T5 HO 4x24W

It could be your lighting, or it could be his photoshop skills.
Try taking a pic under actinic only, then adjust the brightness, see if that looks more like his pic. That first pic appears altered to me. But it might just be me.

You could swap out one of the 10k for somewhere in the 12-14k range. The ATI aquablue bulbs have nice color too.
Like mentioned, take a pic with just actinics.

I found the website you got these from. He has very nice stuff, but compare his pics with the same zoa pics here or another site, you will see a HUGE difference.

I like the Hagen Marine Glo blue bulbs even better than the UV super actinics. Along with the Hagen Life Glo they give a nice color and both the zoas and rics respond well to it. Makes the colors pop for the eye and camera.
But a good 14k MH is probably the best to bring the colors out and this is probably what the zoas are photographed under.

I too ordered the same from the same website along with some others and mine are not even opening up(one frag). A few opened up wonderfully but a few are still shut but I only received mine yesterday.
