Welp, I cant get a clear shot of him, its all way too blurry so Ill do my best to describe. I think he is def a goby, he is about 4" long and is white/pearl/clear and has very intricate purple steaks and dots. What is he!? I think the store had him labled close to "bue spotted purple blenny" or possibly some alteration to those words.. He resembles a diamon goby but has the intricate purple. Also he does not sift sand at all.

Dear hobbyist , the goby that you're describing sounds like a pink faced goby . I had one for almost two years,,and then he died . He was off white with purple stripes along its face and some blue speckles on portions of its body . It doesn't always sift sand or crushed coral ,but sometimes it will ,when it gets hungry enough and can't find enough food . Its a hardy fish though ...
