I have a 65 gallon I am setting up and I want to buy new light for it. I plan on making it a reef aquarium. I want hard and soft corals, inverts, fish, ect. Could you please give me your opinions on this light I was looking at buying. If it isn't a good choice what would you recommend?

Light fixture - Total watts? Length? How many bulbs, 4?

the fixture u mention doesnt hv reflectors. u wont be able to keep hard corals. if u must get t5, get nova pro, tek or aquatinic.

Aquatinics - pricey, but "very" nice
TX5 unit is 5x54 w bulbs with individual reflectors and cooling fan

+1 you can get the nova extreme cheep in a lot of swf classified sections

tank dimensions are 36x24x18deep
light fixture total wattage 160 length is 36 4 bulbs

doh! i was totally going to type like that, but i guess i wont now.

A 65 is 24 inches deep not 18. I had a 70 gallon tank which was 25 inches deep and I had the 5 bulb aquactinics and it wasn't nearly enough light. I would either go with an ATI Powermodule t-5 unit or 2x250 watt metal halides.
