Help on photo

Hey guys I am pretty new at the great hobby of an aquarium and was intrested to know how the whole underwater photo things work, Photography is another of my hobbies, What do i need?

Good digi cam and a tripod or steady hand. The camera doesn't actually go underwater, just outside the glass.
