I just made the worst mistake of my short saltwater experience and need help asap! While trying to place my new Acropra millipora my hand slipped while pushing his base into a crevice and broke him off about 1/2 inch above the base.
I immediately glued the top broken piece to a piece of LR and replaced it in my tank. Is there anything I can do to save it? Any suggestions from anyone that has fragged an Acro? I am litteraly sick to my stomach, i hate being a dumbass. Any help wuold be great.

It's ok, now you have two millis! The top piece that you glued to the rock will begin to encrust over the rock over the next few days. Both will continue to grow like nothing happened.

Viper, thanks for the reply. I sure hope that is what happens because it is a beautiful pink and about 3 inches tall. I am really stressed and do not want to lose it. I will keep watch on my water and keep the Calcium around 420-430 in hopes that will help.. I dose DT's too, will that help? Thanks again for your help.

Some people think SPS corals can eat phytoplankton, but I don't believe so. Liquid phyto is much too small for the polyps to use.
