Help Please!!!

Any advice would be great........my anemone suddenly shriveled up inside himself and looks dead....a neighbor broughht his dog over and it jumped up on the tank and I think scared it....is that possible?? he's just shriveled up into his boot itys a Haitian pink tip and I'm new at this and very worried..............PLEASE HELP!!! Its normal for a healthy anemone to quickly expell all the water and shrivle down to a ball like shape when suddenly spooked. Its a safty/defencive movement. Should slowly open back up soon......
