Help Please!!!

My Hippo Tang appears to have this white, cotton like substance on one of his fins. Does anyone know what it is? Is it fungus? Can it be treated?

Yes, tuffs of cottony spots, especially on fins is likely to be a fungas. Yes, it can be treated with medication.
What type of tank setup do you have? Do you have a hospital tank?

I have a 50 gallon bow front with 30 lbs of live rock, aquaclear 500, sea clone skimmer, sand base, hippo tang(3"), lots of snails and crabs, and a horseshoe crab. No I do not have a hospital tank. I can not get to a pet stor for 2-3 days, will this kill the tang before than?
