i just got my condy on sat.he looked great.but today he folded into a ball like a flat piece of gum on my rock thats cool he suposed to do that but he is just laying there all of his tintcles are all slumped down his color lookes good nice bright purple tips my waters good took a sample to the store to make sure thy said its perfect.is he supposed to just lay there he also layed eggs tuesday.his tentacles are not all puffed up either

I did'nt think anemones layed eggs. :notsure: Anyways he will probably come out of it within an hour. Don't quote me on that though. LOL. I'm not sure. Best of luck though.

dont worry, mine did exactly the same thing(except laying eggs, which im pretty sure they dont do)

I have a condi and a long tentacle anenome... Dunno what the eggs were, unless they were some kind of food the anenome had eaten; they regurgitate what they don't digest.
My anenomes fold up every couple days or so, I think it might be to eat things from tentacles, but if they are folded up for days at a time, it's not a good thing; you might have to improve water quality / lighting / water flow, anenomes love flowing water. If you want to try to feed it, I use either frozen food, or get a 10 cent feeder goldfish, kill it, and either feed it to anenome whole or cut it in half so that your anenome can swallow it whole. (my first anenome was a Condi last year, I lost it a few months later due to high nitrates; now I have low nitrates and they are flourishing)
