help posting pics!?

i got my pics resized, but when i try to post them, all they come up as is an attachment. shouldn't they show up in the thread?? what am i doing wrong???

go down to the bottom of the message and where it says attatch file, hit the browse button. then you can upload your pic straight from your comp.

I not tha great either, but sometimes a bitmap will show up like that. Can you switch it over to a jpeg file?

thanks for the compliment. my daughter went to bed and im computer illiterate so i have no idea what you just said. she was trying to post pictures for me and they dont come out just attachments and those take so long to load

HA....my picture is ON the cover of "computers for dummies", so I know exactly how you feel.

It will come in time.
When you save your pics, have your daughter show you how to save them as jpeg files instead of bitmaps. Then have her show you how to resize them DOWN to 500x500 or less pixels like Melody said. That was the hardest for me. They have to be a certain size for the message board. Wait until you want a picture under your name, thats really fun. I had to have someone here resize it for me.
