Ok.. Well #1 Before the tang police come that is way to small for a yellow or a porc... They will become stressed because lack of room and then will get dissease and later die.
#2 78 is fine but id got to 80 81
#3 Damsels are a hassle and become pests.. If you like em keep em but alot of pl here dont like them.

Well I dont know much bout diseases so put that on the disease forum. I do know that the yellow prolly beaten him up kause when u rearranged tha rock it mad the yellow s territories go away.. Well I hope everything goes well.. If the puffer does make it he could go in the 55.. Not the yellow tho.

How is your puffer doing? I have one that I have had for about 3 weeks, she is in QT right now, am nervous about putting her in the 150 as I have a regal tang who is a meany. The puffer is by far my favorite fish with so much personality. She even blows bubbles for me and will spit water at me sometimes. Always "wagging" her fin when she see's me. Hope yours is doing better.

Have to get off to work, will take some pictures of "Reba" when I get home. She really is a cutey, and to think I really wasn't going to get one, didn't really like them, my son talked me into it. I am SO GLAD now that I got her. She is a wonderful addition to my fish family. :cheer:

If you plan on getting another porcupine puffer make sure you feed them hard shelled foods. In the ocean they eat hard shelled foods so mother nature has blessed them with a rapid set of growing teeth.
If hard shelled foods is not provided in the closed marine system..the blessing becomes a curse as the teeth will outgrow the mouth and the animal will not be able to eat and will die. Or, you will have to perform puffer dentistry and trim the teeth so the animal can eat.
