well for some reason my shroom hasent been opening for the past 4 days.. i just did a 2.5 gallon water change on my bio cube 14 gal, to see if it will help... is this normal?

Have you done any water tests?...post the results. How old are your lights? Have you added anyting new?

ok i tested the water at the LFS and the said it was perfect... i just put in a xeiana frag...ricordia, and an emeral crab...
and added some Restore to the tank because i had light isues and the LFS said that would help, everything else (all the other coral) is good, the new xiena allready started pulsing and it has signs of groth

ok but you should have you own text kit as well. also what is the restore thing? explain please.
and it shouldnt be a problem that some corals wont open. my GSP wouldnt open at all for a week and they open right up. i wouldnt be worried. i guess that something corals do.

the bottel says it helps restore lost tissue and stuff, its a food supplement. im using it cuze my toadstool suffered during my light bulb insident, but i replaced the light bulb.... everything else is opening.. i just hope nothing is wrong with him he was huge when he opened up

Could it be shedding? Have you seen how it looks before when doing this?
Oops My Brain was thinking Toadstool from another post, not Mushroom. Sorry, but as to Mushrooms, a change in light of flow amount is sometime the issue ........

You said you had light issues...
Mushrooms are known to retract when there is significant light change.

yea i changed the bulbs... i moved the rock down to see if something happens,,,,, its going on week 2. he still has all his color tho, just wont open all the way.....
