(I also posted this in the reef section)
My first anemone....it's not going well. I already know my lighting isn't sufficent (contrary to what the LFS said), as I have a 65 watt PC on a 20 gallon tank. Anyway, this sebae was purchased last Wednesday and it's been downhill since. This morning there's white stuff around it's base like you see in the pic. It still moves or reacts if I touch it, but the tentacles have never been sticky since I brought it home and it won't eat. Doesn't smell - yet.....just don't know what to do - leave it be a while longer, remove it...????
It was bright yellow in color with purple tips when I bought it - is still the same color. I've now read that isn't a normal color for sebaes.
Thanks for any suggestions/advice.
