I just purchased a 12 gallon JBS Nano Cube. It is the deluxe model, complete with 48 watts of PC lighting.
But I need help setting it up! I've run my 30 gallon tank for a few months now, and I'm looking to move a lot of its livestock over to the nano.
I currently have a percula clown, a blue damsel, a chocolate chip starfish, a florida condi anemone, two mexican turbo snails, and a pepermint shrimp.
I have a rather thick layer of substrate in my 30 gallon. Can I move some of that to my new nano? Would that help speed up the cycle? I'm buying new cured live-rock from my LFS, so that should help speed up the cycle.
I'm probably going to cycle with the damsel. After that, what creatures do you recommend? I was thinking the percula (and perhaps a mate), the two snails (and getting more for the 30 gallon), the shrimp, and perhaps a few soft corals. What are some good, inexpensive soft-corals for the beginner nano cuber?
Opinions requested! Also, is the four watts per gallon good enough for soft corals?

PS: Thanks for any advice you can provide!
