I have had a Nova Extreme Pro HOT5 (3x10K, 3x460mn actinics) for three years on my 90 gal.
Are they still good?
I don't see any difference in term of diminished performance,,,, but I'm a bad judge since I see them everyday!
I undestand that HOT5 last a long time???
It is my understanding that the PAR reading is reduced at about the 7 month mark and to achieve peak performance that the bulbs should be replaced at about 9-12 months. I would also recommend changing the bulbs one at time to allow for an adjustment period.
