Help Stocking

I have a 10 gal tank and it is almost time to stock it. I started it last fri and by sun I had nitrates. I am taking the water in for testing tommorrow and if everything is ok then I am getting my first fish.
I have 10 pounds of live rock, 30 gal biowheel, powerhead and a heater. I do not have live sand but crushed coral. I got it not knowing it would matter and wish I had sand but it is already in there.
I want a clown fish of some sort and I do not know what else. I have looked on here and there are a few I can have but want some help. I also want some inverts too.

You started the tank last friday ? Your tank is no where ready for stocking it . You need to let the tank cycle .

The biological cycle does not differ on tank size .

Hmmmmm , not really . I have a few 14 gallon nanos ,a few 20s , 40 , 55 , 75 , and 135 . All took about same time to cycle .Anyways , it definetly takes longer than two days for a ten gallon .

what about my 5.5g and 29g that didn't even have a cycle? I don't know if people realize but putting live sand and live rock and water in a tank shouldn't cause a cycle, its just like upgrading tanks..... dunno if some chemist will come on and blast me, but in theory, its true.

Yeah but that's seeding from an established tank, basically moving to a different tank not starting up a new one with rock that had been out of the water or not fully cured. Now if he had put in fully cured live rock and sand from someone's tank he wouldn't cycle at all really. Either way I wouldn't add a fish in week one just to be safe.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am going to have my water tested tommorrow. I need to buy my own test kit but oh well. I have found three small starfish and what seems to be really really tiny feather dusters
