Yes 80 is just peachy. Mine is usually 80 at night and 82 or so during the day.
AJ - thanks for that link, I read that months ago and have been refering to it ever since. . . but I lost the link when I got a new computer. That is a very great article!

my tank runs 81 during the day with my lights on and 79 at night with them off. my corals are growing like crazy so i would not worry too much about 80 deg. another way to chill it out, use fan on your lights. it dropped my tank temp around 3% have fun
