MY toms POS wet dry is crapping out so I am upgrading to a true sump and pump setup. I bought a Mag 12 and will reuse the pump out of the Toms filter rated for 800 GPH at my tanks height for flow. Sump I am getting holds 40 Gallons so I am putting my fuge down into it also. However I am having trouble figuring out what size overflows I will have to make to get the flow I need I have it figured I will have about 1800 GPH between the 2 pumps at return I am thinking a pair of 1.5 PVC should should do me fine any suggestions on what would be a better. Tank is not drilled so that is OUT since I found out it is tempered glass.

I'd get a couple of 1200's. STockman standpipes in each will reduce the noise but your max overall flow will probly be around 1500. If the tank isn't larger then 200G and the pump is just below it then a Mag 12 should be sufficient.

Head will be around 5 feet total loss tank is a 150 gallon high. Measurements are 48 long 24 wide 30 high. Stand is 30 inches high I will be using the Mag 1200 aas primary then the other as a secondary flow.
