Help VHO problems????

Ok
I made a hood installed the retrofit kit of 48" VHO's and when I plugged it in I heard a little snap.
However this was even before I turned it on when I turned it on nothing happened.
Anyone know what's going on
Do VHO's need time to warm up?

check your breaker. is it plugged into the same circuit as anything else? you might have tripped the breaker with a grounding problem.

Check your wiring also if you wired it yourself. What type of ballast are you using? It's easier to wire it wrong than you think.
