i have never had a problem cleaning the algae of my tank before it had always rubbed right off, but i took a vacation a month ago and the algae built up, and when i got home it was way harder to scrape off, i have snails but they leave alot behind. what does everyone use to scrape off tough algae on their acrylic? I got an acrylic scraper/scrubber pad from petsmart, it works but it still takes alot of work, and the scraper part is small, has anyone used something like a plastic mud spreader for drywall (new of course)? I'm thinking it is a lot larger anyway any suggestion helps except for cleaning crew suggestions
