I started this thread in the fish discussion section,(https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/235121/new-hitchhiker-crab-need-id) but maybe it belongs here. I got this crab w/ some LR from the LFS and I have no idea what it is. All I know is it tried to / mostly succeeded in eating my Purple LTA. Here is a pick of the LTA, whats left of it and the crab. Any chance the LTA will come back? The pic is a few hours old. Now it's turned over and I can see that it's base is curled up side of it, like an inside out sock. I had thought it was just a hole. Also, most of the tentacles no longer look flat.
