Help! water is cloudy and I dont know why!

I fed all of my invertebrates last night. i use a variety of thigs including micro vert and chroma plex by kent marine, usually these products cloud the water and in the morning it is all clear again. but this morning I turned on the lights and its still cloudy? what could cause this? I am doing a 25% water change. I cant think of anything else to do? i dont want to add any chemicals (like pro clear or something like that) Can anyone help me?

have you checked all your levels in your tank? Perhaps give it a few days, i dont use your chemicals but I do use a product that usually clouds my tank as well. Just make sure you check all your levels. How are your fish responding do you see them breathing heavily? Sorry I can not be of more help.

I used to use microvert a long time ago. I didn't shake the bottle a few times and then one morning my tank was cloudy. The microvert had slowly got more concentrated from not shaking the bottle. The concentration crashed my ph. As soon as I raised my ph my water cleared up. I now only use 10 mil of reef solution once a week. Check your ph. I bett that it is low. I along with alot of other reefers do small water changes often to keep up trace elements instead of additives. If your tank is well established then you may not need near as much additives as the bottle recomends. Do you soak your food with selcon or equivelant. These help the fish as well as the tank.
