Help!!!will my puffer be ok?

i bought a black dogface puffer 2 days ago to go with my 8" broomtail wrasse. he is sitting on the rocks and breathing very hard. what is wrong? help! please

What are the water params? What size tank? Did you acclimate him at all? Has the wrasse bullied him any? Has he eaten at all? Need a little more info.....Bo

Had the same problem with my porky...
Turns out, because I had him in w/my eels (eels were fairly beefy and the tank was sealed up pretty tight) he wasn't getting enough O2. I added an extra powerhead and in about a day he looked much better, in two days all was well. (Lucky me).
Don't know how big your tank is, but it might be something to check into.

i have a 160g. im going bigger soon. water params all good. i acclimated him also.
