I have hooked the calcium reactor back up on my reef, and I'm having a problem with the pH dropping. When I started, my alk was way down, in the 1.5 range. Calcium had dropped to 310. Well, after a few days, the pH had dropped to 7.8, the alk had risen to 3.5 but teh calcium had only bumped a little. I made the adjustment of increasing teh bubblecount and increasing the drop rate at the tank. Well a few days gone and still the pH had dipped to 7.8 and the alk is now 4.5 Calcium still low (340) Should I be decreasing teh bubble rate a this point? The tank is about 8 months running, and has maintained an 8.2 pH for months wil not maintaince until the reactor was placed, so nothing else is causing teh drop. any help is much appreciated!
