help with anemone

hi everyone!
well lets get to the point. i had a really nice anemone. it was sucked up into the powerhead last night and torn apart! it polluted the tank and i did a major water change this AM. hope all is well for the rest of the inhabitants. i put it in a bucket of water from my water change because he was stuck to a sea fan. well he's still alive!!!! do i put it back in my tank or flush it. i will keep him if he has any chance of survival. i need an opinion, please. he is opened up now but very torn up. not many tentacles left. help!

Might want to move this to invert section...may get more help there......all I can tell ya is I had a condi go thru the same thing...but not as bad as yours sounds.....wife warned me to get rid of it...I gave him a few days........long story short....still got him and its been well over a month
