I have two Bangaii Cards that I'm sure are in a breeding mode. One is smaller than the other. The smaller one is much more timid than the larger. Tonight, they both were out in force. I noticed the larder has a squared off chin as if it was holding something in its mouth. Then all of the sudden the larger spit out a group of eggs. The eggs were clear to opaque with white centers. The smaller appear to snatch the eggs and eat them.
The continues to show mating behavior: the larger nudges the smaller around and will to a little shimmy along side.
These fish are in a community tanks with a Bi-bolor Angel, Fox Face, Midas Blenny and Six-Spot Gobie. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I need to do to get these fish to breed successfully?
Thanks!
