Help with cord/plug

So a friend of mine acquired (and then gave to me) this lighting system that appears to be the REEFSTAR 2 LOW PROFILE. Cool - So I get it home and go to plug it in, but it has some weird plug on the end. Thought someone might be able to educate me a bit on this and hopefully point me in the right direction as far as getting this thing up and running.

Not sure but I thing that plug goes into the ballast. Did you get a ballast too?
Yup, just googled reefstar 2 low profile light and it has a remote HQI ballast. If you did not get this you need to buy one.
