Help with drawing

New Tattoo -- I drew this but am not happy with the head or eye. I want the fins to be flashy but not scary or cartoonie. Also thinking about adding a shell or small coral at the bottom
This will be my birthday present next month -
Anyone care to take a stab at fixing this

Take both those pics to an artist and he will draw, on paper, before he draws on you...
Take a full body shot of a seahorse also, incase he wants details...

Agree with this. I've always been able to bring the idea "in my head" to the artist and have him/her be able to put it onto paper for approval before transferring to my body.
Another option is to find a picture of a seahorse that you love and modify it with a picture program to a sketch and bring that with you. The coloring and details can be added/changed from that.

Thanks, yah I know they will draw it for me. I think I will give it another go to see if I can get closer to what I really want. Just thought if there were any artistic people here they might have some ideas

Thanks, I am trying to gather all the ideas I can. I dont really like any of the seahorse tats I have found on line.
