Help with fragging a zoo

It seems that one of my zoos got its column ripped up last night. I would like to try and frag but do not know how. What kind of gloves should I wear? How many pieces can I cut it up into? How do I get the pieces to stick to a rock? And any other advice that might be helpful. Thanks

What do you mean it's column was ripped up? Are you talking about a single zoo?
To frag zoo's, you need to cut underneath the individual polyps hopefully getting the entire polyp off the rock. Then use super glue gel to glue the bottom of the zoo mat to another rock. Be sure to dry the rock and zoo's as best you can. They can stay out of the water for a long time so don't worry much about that. I've never used gloves, but they don't bother me. I could be mistaken, but I believe that if you're not using gloves to put them in the tank in the first place and you have no reaction to them then there is nothing to worry about. If you have dogs and/or cats you'll want to keep them away because eating a zoanthid or some of it's toxins has been known to kill small animals like that.

Half way up its column has been almost cut in half. The top of it is just barely hanging from the bottom half of the column.

Well if you're wanting to frag a single damaged polyp, I think I'd just leave it alone and hope for the best. How did it get damaged like this?
