Help with goby!

On saturday october 20th i purchased a banded goby, really cool fish. When I put him in the tank he was very sluggish, which is normal from what i've seen for new arrivals. The problem is now he doesnt look well at all. He swims in circles and flails around and usually ends up on the bottom of the tank upside down. Breathing seems slow if not normal. I can't figure out what is wrong.
Tank info and perameters:
55 gallon
45lbs live rock
2-2.5" live sand bed
2 filters on the back
protein skimmer
1 2-3" purple tang (1yr)
1 2-2.5" perc. clown (2.5yrs)
1 2-3" koran angel (4mos.)
1 coral banded shrimp (6mos.)
1 med. chocolate chipstar (6mos.)
2 bumble bee snails (5mos.)
1 condylactis anenome (8mos.)
Ammonia: 0
Nitrate: 0
Nitrite: 0
Ph: 8.2
Temp: 79 degrees
SG: 1.025
Tanks been running about 2.5 years.

Well obviously there isn't too much concern, but he did pass on. I have come to the conclusion that it was the anenome that did him in. My girlfriend said he had looked better this morning, but she said the flailing started after he went by my condy anenome. I got up and saw this and about 2 minutes after I had posted this he was dead. That is the onlu thing I can figuure because everything else is fine.

I really doubt that the condi anemone caused the death due to the circumstances you discribed. Anemones will eat fish but the fish has to get caught in the tenticles. Have you checked your phosphates? Well this response will bump you to the top and maybe Beth or Terry B. will read and respond. Sorry not more help.

Sorry couldn't be of any help, but the symptoms really didn't jar any disease process in my mind. How was the fish at the LFS?

i have found that i couldn't find out about that exact species of goby. I just found out about gobies in general. I got him from my most trusted lfs but the guy who sold him to me was new, so there's that. but a fish can get stung by an anenome and it will hurt it. I can't think of anything else. And he died so fast after touching it.
