Help with ick please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can any one tell me if my clown has ick? I cant put a pic on here but it looks like his body is covered in white poka dots. looks like its covered with salt. I have a pic but can only send it by e-mail. If some one could help me out and let me know if it is ick or not. Also whats the best way to treat him? I do not hav ea Qt tank yet but i have him in a gallon bucket for now so if it is ick it wont get aroudn the tank i hope. If some one could help i would appricate it. Thank you

sounds like ich. Get a hospital tank set up ASAP. A cheap 10 gallon setup from any LFS (or even walmart for that matter) is all you need. Look in the disease section for treatments.

I recently had the same problem. I went down to the LFS and bought some copper solution. You have to take out your live rocks and anemones first and leave all fish in. After one week, everything returned to normal. You can buy a cleaner solution to take-out copper. Leave the cleaner solution in for about a week. Then reintroduce your live rocks and anemones back.

Save yourself the trouble & buy Scarlet cleaner shrimp. It just takes one to eliminate ich, forever!! I have an agressive tank & all the fish live in hormony with them. They molt all the time & not one ever too advantage of it. Since the cleaners, never had an issue with ich...over 2 yrs now.

Ive been mixing food with garlic powder anytime I see a white spot and so far no ICH knock knock.

sorry guys for taking so long. Well i took him out of the tank and took him over to my friedsn house and when i got it there he didnt have any white spots, so hes like u are crazy he dosent have ick, so he siad it could be co2 bubbles which i haev never heard of so since he been doing it a little bit longer then me i was like ok, so i took him back home and put it back in the tank. the next morning i went to look at the tank and see if anything was wrong with it and i looked for 20 mins and couldnt find him anywhere. SO i started moving the LR to see if maybe he died and was under a peice or something. After looking for about 20mins i went to the side of the tank and was checknig everywhere so i looked in my pre filter and he was in there stuck to the sponge. So like in the movie finding nemo my fish wanted to get out for some reason so i think they sold me a crappy fish. beacuse all my other fish are doing fine and dandy. but thank you for your help.
