I want to treat ick with hyposlinity, but I don't have a hospital tank. I can remove the 30# of live rock and put in a tub with 15# of rock that has been curing for about 1 1/2 weeks. Is this o.k.? I need to do something quick, clown tang just died and pink tail and picasso are fading quick.

The live rock can not just be put into a tub. It will need circulation [powerheads] and, if you can, also filtration of some sort. If you have LS, then you cannot do hypo in the main tank.
However, if you move the rock, and have no inverts, then go ahead and do the hypo.

Beth I have a powerhead and another small water pump that I am using for circulation. I can remove my skimmer and put it in the tub if necessary. By the way I removed all the rock yesterday afternoon and by 8:00 p.m. my pink tail had eaten the picasso. At least that is all that I can figure because he is gone and without the rock there are no hiding spots.

I would suggest you check the rocks for the fish. Not unusal that a fish hitches a ride lodged in rock when tanks changes are being made. I had a small hippo once that lodged inside a piece of blue coral. Well, failing to do a head count in the aquarium after removing rocks, I began doing some cleaning of the algae off the rocks....I then thought to check on the fish to see how they were doing...hippo missing. A serach found him in the dead coral.
Additionally, if you have no hiding spots in the tank now, then you need to supply some...PVC works well for this. You fish cannot be left wo anything, as this will cause extreme stress and likely mortality.
