yes they are bad.... I have like 12 of them in mine that I've been trying to get rid of! I heard you can also use lemon juiceto get rid of them, but I'm not too sure on how that works... if its done in your tank or what? Peppermint shrimp might eat them too.

nuisance anemone but pretty cool looking. Joes juice is an option but if you plan on having peppermint shrimp now's the time to get one or more. They will eat it right up. They sting and spread like crazy and can be detrimental to corals and your hand if you aren't careful.

Even though the tank is only two weeks old - you would get some shirmp? How do peppermint shimp handle cycle changes.

I would wait til the tank goes out of cycle. Inverts do not handle bad water quality like you would find in the cycle. After that you can let him loose on it.

get some joe's juice and kill them all now. if you wait, you will regret it. they long you wait, the worse it gets. go get some joes juice, and it will take care of it. it only costs about $10, and you just squirt them with it. Kill everyone that you see, and eventually you wont see them at all anymore....i got peppermint shrimp too, but joe's juice is what got it done for me.
