help with light stand

my strip light is 10.5" long and 4.25" thick
my tank is 11.5" thick
can somebody help me find or build a stand or some type of support for it?
i cannot hang it

no sorry if i explained it badly i need a way to suspend my light over my tank
would just chunks of plastic from chrome depot be fine i cant find any legs to hold it up that are the right size

How pretty do you need it to look? I know at Lowes in the hardware section they have a pretty good assortment of nylon spacers and what not that you could probably rig something up. Do you have any pics of the light your trying to raise?

i know it is one of the cheap ones but i have two other weaker ones on a twenty gal and this one serves a purpose to me
