sorry about posting this twice but im need some help i have a fo only 55gal 48inch long but am waiting about 6months before switching over to reef. right now i just have a small hood with regular florescent lights. im looking into building my own canopy and putting a few lights in for now just to look better. i found a kit with 2x55watt pc i was wondering if i added two more 55 later on or more likely a mh would this be enough for corals. and in the time being while i just have the 2x55 that will be on opposit ends do i need to keep the bulbs the same or if i put one daylight and one blue itll give good color and not look like one side of the tank is colored more than the other im just started thinking about lights so any help would be appreciated

if you are building your own hood here is what i did...go to home depot and get the cheapest twin bulb 48" shop lights...mount them to the top of the hood so they are at least 6" from your water level...
