Help with lighting

I am down grading from a 155 and will be setting up a 44 gallon pentagon tank. The dimensions are: 23 inches tall by 22 wide by 24 deep. I am looking to have a wide assortment of corals, zoos, hammers, clams, not sure just color. Should I go with a 150 or 250 watt mh. I am thinking of doing just the mh w/ 14k bulbs and no pcs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think the 250 will pierce the water better.all i run in my 48 is the 250, works great.it`s a 48 tall, that`s why i went with 250 watt. CLICK the pic to see how it looks.
