Ok the insurance check is in
(major flooding back in september
) and I am getting ready to upgrade my lighting. Tank is 65gal. flat back half hex acrylic (used to have p.c.'s) in black flip up canopy. The bulbs in there now measure 36" but looks like it will fit 48" end to end. I was thinking t-5's or something like that. I need help on how many to put in the canopy, individual reflectors,kelvins,actinics,etc.... also will I need to install a fan?
in canopy. Thanks ahead of time.

def do individual reflectors. i would do 6 or 8 bulbs.. 3/4 10,000k and 3/4 true blue actinic lights. i have no ballast experience but i believe most recommend icecap (sp?). not sure how much that would all cost but you could get a nova extreme pro all set for about $350.
