Help with lights please.

I have a 60 octagon tall tank with some live rock and some mushrooms, couple of fish. Lfs said i didnt have enough light so they sold me a light for 150.00 dollars.
Here are the specs.
Brand name is CURRENT.
20in 2 lamp 40 watt 24hr lighting system.
40watt sunpaq dual actic
420nm + 460nm
40watt dual daylight 6,700 k + 10,000 k and two lunar lights.
I asked the sales men about watts per gallon and they said this was perfect for any reef situation. 80watts sounds low and they said the quality bulbs ment i had plenty of light also. So far everything looks good and healthy. Been useing the lights for a week or so.

Hi,
I just bought the same lights, I brought them back the next day.. I had it on top of a 15H, was gonna make a nano reef set up.
The reason I didnt like it was ALL the plugs (4 of them) for 1 light and the darn fan drove me nutz.... Also, The moonlight beam was annoying to me... all this is JUST MY OPINION....
It would have been a distraction in my livingroom, day and night. Also, I wanted a canopy and you cannot put anything atop of it.
On a 60 gallon though, I dont know if thats enough light for a lot of corals....Maybe someone here can do the math, cuz I never understood it.,. LOL
JME though....But a good product, probably, It came highly recommended.

4 plugs, lol, i know its nuts. I caint here my fan unless im really close to the tank and i unpluged my moon lights, i just use them once in a while.
I am confused about the watts and the defferent lights, Lfs guys swear this is the one. lol. Iam lost as allways.........lol
