I HAVE MY 55 FOWLR FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS . 1 PIECE OR LR HAS A DARK RED CARPET OF GROWTH ON IT . WHAT IS IT AND SHOULD I CLEAN IT OFF. SOME OF IT IS FALLING OFF . THANKS.

If it's red it's most likely a type of carpet algae. You can peal it off and remove it or you can see if it grows out of control. Either way it's not a noxious type of algae.
