help with live rock...

i am expecting 45-50 lbs wed to put in my 46 bow--my question is,my lfs guy said all i have to do is rinse the rock off,and put it into my tank--will this be ok??im kinda worried about this,so please give me all opinions--thnks <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

supposedly it is cured and very fresh rock--my lfs buys it from a small distributor)he supposedly talks to the guy every sun nite,as the guy dives on weekends??does this sound true,as to how they harvest the rock??)but he does all his rock the same way-as he says i can watch him unpack his 400 lbs wed evening and put it in his display tanks--he has been very honest to this point,hope u guys agree i can do it this way <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />
