Help with MV and MH bulbs

I bought a ballast. It is a 400 mercury Vapor ballast. The guy I bought it from said it will run a 400W M59 MH bulb. I am not finding alot of information about running MHs with a MV ballast. Can anyone shed some light on this subject? I can provide the model number of the ballast if need be. I am begining the process of building a lighting canopy for my 110, and just want to know im doing things right

M59 is a ballast model number...You should be able to run the 6.5K Iwaski bulb, other then that I'd try to find a M59 ballast
