Ok...sat i did a wc and then acclimated a pair of clown to my tank, then this morning i woke up to both of my clown having tons of white spots all over them(nothing was on them yesterday night). I think it is ich, but can ich just break out like that over night? all my other fishes are fine...It seems to be just clowns that this happen to when i introduce them to my tank. This is the third set i have introduced now, the first times i thought it was the way i changed my water, and thought it was just sand or debris in the tank getting on them from water changes. This time i just want to make sure...don't want my gf feeling a depress again, she gets sad seeing her fishys die...planing to QT them tonight once i get back from work but please reply....

it sounds like ich. do you qt your fish before introducing them to the dt? if it is ich, then all of your fish have it now, so you'll have to put them all through hyposalinity for 4-6 weeks. the directions for proper qt are in the disease forum

+1 QT before, to prevent problems...every fish in the tank is now exposed...I hope this isn't a reef tank.

i read somewhere in the disease section saying that ich is a fish only parasite, so my condy anenome should be fine right.
