Help with new tank

Starting a 37 gl eclipse and would like to get feedback concerning substrate. I will house 4-5 very small fish, plenty of LR, and may add some hardy corals in the future.
There seems to be different schools of thought about LS so I was wondering what I should use for the above setup. Argonite? Actual established LS? Nature's Ocean type with quick seeding action (or whatever it does)? Or should I use a combination of things and us real LS to seed it?
I have also heard that the addition of a Goby doesn't put a big strain on the bio-load since it is more of a consumer than a producer of waste. Any truth to that?

I would use the argonite and seed it with some live sand, no need to buy all live sand.
As to the goby, a fish is a fish is a fish..it eats and poops just like any other fish and should be considered in the total bioload of a tank.
